Lärkan is designed by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom, TAF Architects. The inspiration for the lark design came from old times simpler forms of barns and outbuildings where one often chose to exploit the timber dimensions that were available. Using different wide dimensions means less waste and less environmental impact since as much of the original timber as possible is used in the design.
Both Kulturhusterassen in Stockholm as well as Gothenburg Gardening Society has had many years of pleasure from Lärkan on their terraces and in their gardens with 10,000-'s of visitors every year.
TAF is a Stockholm-based design and architectural studio founded by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom. Since its inception in 2002, the studio has received numerous awards both in Sweden and internationally.
